A Movie Review: Breaking Dawn Part 2

Breaking Dawn Part 2 is the final movie to the Twilight Series. It opens up with Bella waking up after giving birth to her child (half human, half vampire) and after she is turned into a vampire. She seemed very thrilled with her new life. The movie was filled with humor, romance, and action which made the movie easy to watch. The special effects were a little off (meaning with certain scenes you can tell they were filmed it on a green screen) and some parts were hard to watch because some of the actors seemed to be over acting. Despite all the minor things that made the movie seem a little less than perfect, I still enjoyed the movie and I think anyone who likes humor, romance, and action will enjoy the movie. And for the ones who read the book, this movie seems to be the one that was most off track compare to the other movies that followed the books well. But overall, the movie was enjoyable and I recommend it to anyone who loves vampires, werewolves, and romance will like this movie.

  1. It seems like a good "Popcorn movie" to me. What I mean by that is, just a chance to go have fun and not overthink it too much. I have only seen one (the 2nd one) and I haven't read the books. I just never get around to it. But it sounds like you enjoyed it and I'm glad you added how it compares to the book for anyone who has read them. It helps to know what to expect that way the audience isn't disappointed.

  2. I agree with you 100% on the "falseness" some actors portrayed at times. As well as some minor special effects gone wrong (the baby in the beginning). I went to the midnight premiere with my younger sister and we both loved the movie, we read the books as well. So , i would say if you read the books, the movies would make more sense. With this final movie, i was so bummed it was the last movie, that i didn't really care that it was off from the book at times. *Team Edward :)

  3. @Ms Mott, thank you. Yeah I always compare the movies to the book because I'm always a little bummed out that some of the scenes from the book aren't in the movie or have been changed completely. I really enjoyed the movie, it was the first time in a long time that I went out and did something with my sisters. @Miriam yeah the books help out SO much. I was also bummed it was the last movie, but the same time realived that I finally saw it. I waited so long to see it. I like how you posted what team your on. "lol" I'm Team Edward as well :)
